If you're like me, you probably have a long list of tasks you need to accomplish in a day and of course, there never seems to be enough hours in the day! One of the things on my list that I always dread getting done is grocery shopping. It's one of those activities that just takes up too much time and I end up making too many unnecessary purchases. Most of us can't afford our own personal shopper (although wouldn't it be nice if we could), but Walmart offers a Grocery Pickup program that is basically the same thing!
This is not a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
All you have to do is make a qualifying purchase of $30 or more and you can utilize this service. And let's be real, when is your grocery shopping bill ever less than $30?
So how exactly does it work? It's actually really simple. All you have to do is visit https://grocery.walmart.com/ and enter your zip code to find your closest store. Once you register, you'll be taken to the home page where you can start picking out your items. To make it simpler and faster, you can use the search button at the top to find specific items you're looking for.
Once you get all your items in your cart, you can start the checkout process. You'll be asked to select a date and time to pick up your groceries. If you're looking for a specific time, make sure you place your order the day before. By doing so, you'll be able to select from different times throughout the day. If you just realized day of that you need to do your shopping, no worries! You can still place an order, but you'll just most likely have an afternoon pickup time. After checking out, you'll be sent an email summarizing your order. If you forgot an item or want to change something about your order, they allow you to edit your order up to a certain time.
If you haven't already, download the Walmart Grocery App. This app will notify you 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time that your order is ready. Once you get that notification, you can then check-in through the app to let them know you're on the way. The app tracks you via GPS and notifies Walmart when you pull into the parking lot. Park in a designated pickup spot and an associate will bring your grocery haul right to you. They even load the groceries into your car, so you don't even have to get out of your car.
I can't tell you how much I love using this service mostly because it's so helpful when I have a busy weekend planned and can't give up the time to walk around the store gathering my groceries. The whole pickup process usually takes about 10 minutes!
If you're interested in trying this out for yourself, click here and you'll get $10 off your first purchase of $50 or more. Let me know in the comments below if you've used this service before or if you plan to try it out. Happy shopping!
