This weekend we had the privilege of touring the Loaded Cannon Distillery before it opens to the public on Friday, July 19. Located at 3115 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard in suite 110, this distillery will offer you vodka, rum, gin and bourbon and more!
To learn the details of their craft and the advantages of small production distillation, I strongly suggest you take the tour. You'll have the chance to visit the production area, which includes fermentation and the bottling area. Afterwards, you'll partake in a tasting session. For $15, you can take a tour of the distillery, receive a free shot glass, get 5 tastings of whatever is available and get a $5 kickback on a bottle purchase.
Looking for a company outing? You can even book a VIP tour and have the place to yourself and your group! They also offer public and private cocktail classes if you're looking to learn a little more about the art of making drinks.
The tasting room is available Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and distillery hours are Wednesday and Thursday by appointment only and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with tours on the every half hour.
